For heavier applications, the flame cutting mode is suitable for cutting steel or iron plates ranging from 30mm to 200mm in thickness.

1.Oxy-Fuel (Flame) Cutting
Ideal for processing thick carbon steel plates—generally recommended for materials over 20mm in thickness. This method offers powerful cutting performance for heavy-duty applications.
2.Plasma Cutting
Plasma cutting offers a more cost-effective solution, typically requiring only 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of flame cutting.
- A 200A plasma power source is well-suited for high-volume cutting of carbon steel up to 20mm.
- A 300A plasma source is recommended for continuous or batch cutting of carbon steel plates up to 25mm thick.
3. Non-Ferrous Metals (Stainless Steel, Aluminum, Galvanized Sheets)
For materials like stainless steel, aluminum alloys, and galvanized sheets, plasma cutting provides the most effective and precise solution. Flame cutting is not suitable for these non-ferrous metals.
